Just understand this a tube unit and has the wow and wonder (good and bad) of tubes. Really strong presence that seems to be much more the the 60 watt rms rating. Tuner, tape, cd and aux inputs. To use a turntable, the turntable either must have a built in preamp, or you must use an external phono preamp. I used a Schitt brand preamp when using my vintage turntables. Looks great and the glow of the tubes is incredible when listening to music in the evening. Thoroughly enjoyed the amp. Just need to make some space. This is a VERY heavy unit. Jolida Glass FX Tube DAC III (extensively upgraded). Upgrades are as follows - V-Caps on the output - Audio Note caps on the low voltage feeds to dac board and tube board - Regulator upgrade - drops the noise floor big time - Small fuse upgrade (defo worth it in digital) - 2 x resistors (one feeds the tubes) - Silver plated RCAs - Gold Plated IEC socket - Power supply DC block film cap upgraded to a Mundorf Evo Oil. - Low voltage bypass caps upgraded to Wima types. - Silver wiring throughout - fitted with a pair of Mullard 12AX7 - Feet were removed but I’ll supply 3 x Nordost Pulsar Points In addition to all of the above, I also had Parts Connexion in Canada carry out a clock upgrade (at a cost of £325 including charges) - NewClassD Neutrino 2 Reference Clock All in all, the DAC owes me around £900 including upgrades and the initial DAC purchase.
