This arm is one of the best tonearms at the price point and basically the only option for this price range if you want a modern day s arm with sme connector. Sadly very difficult to find now that jelco no longer exists. Does not come with a cable. Operation has been confirmed and the arm sounds fantastic.

I removed this tonearm from a Thorens turntable that I am parting out. I tested it today and it sounds wonderful. Parts include a Jelco SA-750DB in excellent used condition, includes tonearm, headshell, mounting base with screws and nuts, regular counter weight, heavy counter weight, Allen wrenches, plastic mounting template, paper mounting template, and instruction sheet. The only things missing from the original package are the dampening oil and a guide pin to use with the mounting template. Also included is a Jelco JAC-501 cable with replaced RCA plugs. The original plugs were crimp on and had two connections break, they have been replaced with much sturdier soldered plugs. Finally a Jelco SA-250ST mounting plate is included. The plate includes mounting spacers and screws and nuts. This plate is for use with a number of Thorens turntables including the TD-145, 146, 147, 160, 165, and 166. I had this installed in a Thorens TD-166 mkii and it worked perfectly. Please see photos for items included, and exact condition. These items are sold as is, no returns. It is made to the correct mass value required but it my differ cosmetically to the original manufacturers weight. * Please note that this auction is for the anti skate weight and its monofilament line only. The line is knotted and has a small balancer that goes inside the weight but the end that attaches to the anti skate bar of the tonearm is open ended and therefore you must tie the loop end yourself. Length of the line supplied is 25cm which is enough extra line for a couple of attempts and I will supply extra lines if you feel you might need them for free on request. *
