Up for sale is a TransRotor TR 800-B which is a rebadged / upgraded version of Jelco SA-250. There were a good number of companies that bought Jelco and rebadged just like Rega does. - Includes upgraded Ammonite Audio collar which cost me $80 plus shipping (https://ammonite-audio.co.uk/ammonite-audio/) - Includes standard weight (you can still buy upgraded versions online) - Includes Jelco HS-12 headshell with silver leads (not sure of the brand, but they are nicely made) Good condition. Bearings still feel great! I have never adjusted it and dont know how, so I left it alone.. but I am sure there are guides out there for tweaking. Was used on a Technics SL-1200 MK2 with a Hana EL for three years and sounded great, but getting the table exactly level is necessary. Its a touch dusty in the photos, but I have a tiny brush I can try to get in the small crevices and clean out. The scratches on the mount were from the paint scraping off using the old collar. The new upgraded collar is much better and doesnt do that. The only minor gripe I have with Jelco tonearms is that their anti-skate mechanisms can be too sensitive and need to be dialed back a bit/tweaked to get correct. For this arm, I always set it at 0.75 or 1 max for any weight and it worked great. Der Tonarm ist von einem Luxman PD 151 und demnach mit den höheren Anforderungen / Toleranzen von Luxman durch Jelco gefertigt.

I removed this tonearm from a Thorens turntable that I am parting out. I tested it today and it sounds wonderful. Parts include a Jelco SA-750DB in excellent used condition, includes tonearm, headshell, mounting base with screws and nuts, regular counter weight, heavy counter weight, Allen wrenches, plastic mounting template, paper mounting template, and instruction sheet. The only things missing from the original package are the dampening oil and a guide pin to use with the mounting template. Also included is a Jelco JAC-501 cable with replaced RCA plugs. The original plugs were crimp on and had two connections break, they have been replaced with much sturdier soldered plugs. Finally a Jelco SA-250ST mounting plate is included. The plate includes mounting spacers and screws and nuts. This plate is for use with a number of Thorens turntables including the TD-145, 146, 147, 160, 165, and 166. I had this installed in a Thorens TD-166 mkii and it worked perfectly. Please see photos for items included, and exact condition. These items are sold as is, no returns. Let me be 100% clear, I dont know what tonearm this is. I believe this is a Jelco 250 ST tonearm that was sold with an Acoustic Research ES-1 turntable, but I wouldnt stake my reputation on it. If youve seen the photos, you know as much about it as I do. It appears to be in good condition. The lifter is smooth and everything swings freely and smoothly. You can tell it has been mounted before because there are some grub screw marks on the base.This came in a box of turntable parts that I bought. I thought it was a Rega because it came in a Rega RB 300 box, but obviously this is not. It will be packed in the Rega box for shipping. What you see is what you get. You get the tonearm (no cartridge), counterweight, and base. There is no cable. Item is being sold as-is, but other items from the same collection were in excellent condition so I have no reason to doubt it functions normally.

Up for sale is this Jelco ST250 Super Tonearm. An upgraded version of the classic ST250. This arm has higher specs including: Improved bearings & housing, thicker more rigid arm tube & higher quality components. A drop in replacement for the original ST250 (Linn mounting geometry). It easily bested my Linn Basik Plus, sounds very similar to my Jelco 750D - I could not tell them apart.
