The heavy all-metal remote control is clean and fully operational. The display is functioning perfectly. It has always been used in the OFF state to preserve its life. The electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with much better quality capacitors for decades of reliable operation as well as improved sound quality. The preamplifier operates fully with a clean, quiet background and commanding bass authority and delicate high frequencies. This is obviously a reference-standard sound.
