Greetings vintage JBL lovers,collectors and audio enthusiasts ! For your consideration is a RARE JBL SA660 integrated stereo amplifier in good cosmetic condition and it WORKS ! Someone drilled holes in the side of the case in order to facilitate brackets for rack mounting. There are thee spots that are adhesive residue from labels,and a few scratches here and there and it is missing one “foot” and two small screws in the top. This amplifier does work ( both channels ) but will need some TLC. The volume pot is scratchy and somewhat intermittent, the other tone controls and the balance seem to work properly. Some deoxIT or a similar product may remedy that,but I’ll leave that to the new owner. I tested the tuner and aux inputs and both worked as they should. I ran this amp in my everyday system for a few days and I think it sounds pretty good. Given the rarity I’m tempted to keep it,but my audio collection has gotten a bit out of hand so Im going to pass it along. I’m sure a recap is probably in order as well,but I don’t have the time or skill to do that. Please look closely at the attached images!
