This is a beautiful pair of JBL LS 80 tower loudspeakers, in piano black gloss finish. Very rare, and in excellent condition. These are also very rare in build, as they are a 3.5 way design. Deep bass, smooth mids, and crystal clear highs. These easily drop down to 35Hz and sing up to 40kHz using Dual 8 in woofers, a 2 in bi radial horn mounted compression driver and a 3/4 in neodymium ring driver. Along with the amazing soundstage, they're beautiful to look at. The black gloss finish is a literal mirror. I positioned them for the photos with my RF-7's,(copper woofer towers not included) for both a size comparison and to demonstrate the mirror of the finish. These are BIG, and 77 lbs each. Very few minor imperfections that I have included in pics for your judgement of condition. 1 tower has 2 small spots on the top black finish, easily touched up if you like, and the other has 1 small chip on the bottom edge, which isn't visible when placed. The screen covers are absolutely perfect, no broken pins, and not a single fabric pull. There are 2 rubber pin holders for the screen that are nicked on the rim, and 1 has come out, but screen holds firm. If I had a slight criticism of these, those little pin holders are too tight, taking the covers off is a little tough. They sound incredible, and look amazing as well. I'm a bit of a hoarder of audiophile gear, I've been collecting enjoying all my life, which is why I am putting these up for sale, I just have too much, and need space, some others already listed and some others on the way.
