JBL LX4-2 Speaker Crossover Divided Networks From Lancer 77.

Beautiful pair of JBL 10” Woofers from a pair of Lancer 77’s. They are 16 ohms and are in great original condition. They have their original Lancaloy surrounds. The surrounds have no cracks or issues, but being 50 + yrs old the surrounds are stiff and will eventually need to refoamed or reconditioned with break fluid ( if your brave enough) As they sit today they play very nicely They are serial. Numbered 14644 and 14654 Will be packed with great care to ensure safe arrival. No returns accepted on these.

Nice pair of rear badges from a pair of JBL L77 Lancers Includes mounted pins still attached These are the heavy casted emblems

A pair of JBL LE20-1 tweeters in excellent cosmetic and fully working condition, taken from a pair of Lancer 77s but of a design widely used in JBL speakers of the late 60s-70s. The decor plates that conceal the mounting screws have been carefully removed with no creasing so can be reused. These are 16 ohm AC impedance units which measure as 4 ohm DC resistance which while unusual appears typical for this design. Both units can be heard working in the video which is in two parts, in each case only the pictured speaker is in use-the high frequency response can be heard changing on each line of the verse to demonstrate the three low/medium/high settings on the crossovers. These are pretty scarce on this side of the Atlantic and are sold as pictured and demonstrated with no returns. International sales will be via the Global Shipping Programme without exception. All other components of the Lancers are listed separately.

A pair of original wooden fretwork grills from a pair of JBL/James B. Lansing Lancer 77 speakers, circa 1967-1972. The mitred frames are sound with minimal marking (everything of note has been photographed), while the fretwork is pretty much immaculate which is remarkable given their age. Exact dimensions are 560mm x 320mm (22 x 12 5/8), with a depth including mounting batten of 25mm (1). Mounting is via two central holes on the batten that fits on split steel posts on the speaker baffle, velcro could be used. The rear grille cloth is taut, with no tears. These really are very rare, the JBL catalogues of the time that I can find describe wooden fretwork options on the larger Lancer 99, but not the 77. I can find no other examples for sale on or off speakers available anywhere. They will be very carefully packed for shipping, international sales will be via the global shipping programme, with no exceptions. Other components from the Lancers will be listed soon.
