Vintage JBL Horizon L-166 speakers in fine cosmetic and working condition. It’s hard to describe just how nice these speakers sound. No cosmetic issues to mention other than one cabinet is darker than the other but being dark walnut I know this can vary with the wood grains. At a typical 8 -9 foot separation it wasn’t even noticeable. Included are the original boxes and paperwork (manuals). Speakers sound amazing. I’ve had them for years and rotated them out of my listening room regularly for my other JBL L100 and Decade 36. Never pushed hard and always had clean power applied. These speakers sold for about $1000 in 1976. In todays dollars that is equivalent to about $5500. Most unique with these besides the excellent sound quality are the metal egg crate grills. And these are also in excellent condition. It hurts to sell these but I have to cut down. The Decade 36’s are soon to be listed as are pristine Onkyo A-7 and A-10 integrated amplifiers. And an ADCOM 545 Mark II power amp. Got to lighten my load. Thanks for looking.
