Up for sale, a hard to find, JBL L36 10” woofer, model 125a. This woofer was removed from an L-36 Decade speaker because of a suspected slight voice coil rattle. It does have a good reading on the ohm meter and it moves free and smooth. It has been sitting on a shelf for about two years and now im wondering if the rattle could have just been the lead wires touching the cone. I dont see any signs that the VC is bad, because it does move free and smooth. Also, one of the terminal tabs is broken off. The new lead wire can simply be soldered on. The foam was professionally replaced about 2 years ago. I have not done any further testing on it since it was removed, so with the possibility of the VC actually being bad, I am listing it “AS IS” for parts/repair.
