Mit seinem markanten Design und der leistungsstarken Technologie ist der JA-S44 ein begehrtes Sammlerobjekt fr Audiophile. Perfekt fr Liebhaber von hochwertigem Sound und zeitlosem Stil. WICHTIG! Auch hier konnte ich lediglich testen ob es Strom bekommt. Auf alle Funktionen war es mir nicht mglich zu testen. Bedienungsanleitung ist dabei. Ein schöner alter Vintage-Verstärker sucht ein neues Zuhause. Der JA-S44 von JVC ist ein nur noch selten angebotenes Gerät. Gute Phono-Sektion. Er ist mit seinen 2 x 60W (4 Ohm) kein Wattmonster, kann aber dennoch viele nicht so watthungrige Lautsprecher bespielen. Mit seiner schönen Pegelanzeige und der integrierten Equalizer-Funktion ist er optisch und technisch ein sehr interessantes Gerät. Wir haben den Verstärker mehrere Stunden spielen lassen und er hat problemlos funktioniert. Es gab aber keine Werkstattprüfung oder Werkstattüberholung. Das Gerät stammt aus den 70er Jahren und ist somit ein technischer Oldtimer. Aufgrund des Alters und der nicht durchgeführten Überholung (zumindest nicht durch uns) bieten wir das Gerät daher ausdrücklich als überholungsbedürftig an! Lieferumfang: Nur der Verstärker ohne weiteres Zubehör Vorabbesichtigung und Selbstabholung in Dortmund ist nicht nur möglich sondern wird ausdrücklich empfohlen! Ein Versand von technischen Geräten ist auch bei sorgfältiger Verpackung stets mit einem Risiko behaftet! Idealerweise sollten daher immer Geräte abgeholt werden! All inputs are working. Sounds excellent with no noise in the controls or switches. It has a few scratches on the top of the face plate and some discolored spots and minor scratches on the lid. Very good vintage condition. The manual is a reprint from the internet.

The JVC JA-S44 is a clean under rated 45 WPC integrated amp. It is among the last of the real solid state units before they went to IC output chips… which sound like junk & have zero dynamic headroom. This unit has had a complete refresh including replacing ALL of the electrolytic caps. The power wire has been upgraded to 17AWG solid core cryo treated AntiCable wire. The new filter caps were bypassed with WIMA & Solin film caps. There are now LED lights in the very cool VU meters (which have been calibrated by a pro tech along with the other settings). The top cover and the chassis have been damped & the junk feet have been replaced with real rubber ones all to reduce vibration. The phono wires have been replaced with cryo treated Cardas shielded phono cable. The output connectors were replaced with copper 5 way binding posts. In every way this is a very seriously good sounding amp. The volume/EQ controls were originally silver and I thought that was just too monotone so I first sprayed them with etching primer as they are plastic and had metalized paint, then I sprayed them with high quality black paint- I think the sliders really make a nice statement. Speaking of controls, the sliders were all sprayed with Caig Slider & the others with Caig DeOxit.See photos for cosmetic condition. Shipping is flat rate CONUS.
