Bei diesem Tonabnehmer handelt es sich um ein Moving-Magnet-Prinzip (MM)Die Spielzeit ist leider nicht bekannt. Ich habe das System gebraucht mit einem Plattenspieler gekauft. Da ich mein vorhandenes MC System verwende, benötige ich den Tonabnehmer nicht.Die Detailfotos der beiden Nadeln sind aktuell und zeigen, dass die Abnutzung gering ist. Der Audio Note IQ 3 verwendet für den Nadelträger das gleiche Material, wie der schon legendäre MC Tonabnehmer Audio Note IO 1. Der Nadelträger besteht also aus einem Titanröhrchen und nicht aus Aluminium, wie es sonst bei Tonabnehmern üblich ist. Das ist einzigartig und bietet in Kombination mit der Audio Note Typ 1-Nadel (ebenfalls identisch mit dem Audio Note IO 1) ein Klangniveau, das mit den normalen Moving Magnet-Konstruktionen so kaum erreicht werden kann. Das Audio Note IQ 3 ist so konstruiert, dass der Nadelträger mit der Nadel komplett abnehmbar ist, was das Ersetzen einer abgenutzten Nadel deutlich vereinfacht und kostengünstiger gestaltet.
