ION Obelisk 100 Amplifier. Obelisk 100 (underneath model no. is 100.1) Serial no. 1191 1006 Used working condition No remote control, but I do not believe this model ever came with one. Two buttons on the front control the input and record selections. The Rec button works easily and with the lightest of touches. The listen input select button obviously used more and you have to press it down a bit harder and for longer. Works fine once you are used to it. Rec selection light is Red Listen selection light is Green If both happen to be on the same input light is Red Unmarked knob next to input lights is for balance left and right. Large knob on the right is volume. Far lower left is power on off button, type has partially worn away. Headphone socket tested and working well Button to right of headphone socket is the speaker select button for either Main or Auxiliary. Both working well and sounding good. Speaker out connectors 4mm banana jack sockets, see photos Tested with a CD player tape deck and record player. CD player was also used to test the Aux input, all working well. All inputs good and come through at roughly the same volume, including the phono input. No adjustment for Bass or Treble on this unit Record selector tested by plugging a Mini Disc into Tape 1 inputs. With a CD player also attached, using Aux input. I played CD, Listen is set to Aux and Record is also set to Aux. Begin recording on mini disc, at the end of recording I listened to it back by selecting Tape 1 via the Listen button. Recording was successful and sound is good. Some of the type has worn away on the front of unit. See photos. Some small knocks and mark to top front edge with some scratches and scuffs to front of unit. Top and sides also have some scratches and marks.
