The amp has recently been inspected by Adams Electronics (a $180 fee) and all other parts are functional, I have uploaded the repair invoice indicating it needs a new board for one channel. If you are handy you can repair the specific amplifier channel, or bypass the channel and use 6 channels. Seven channel amplifier by Integra Research. They were kinda in cahoots with Onkyo for a while in a kind of skunk works but they are their own company. They joined forces with Balanced Audi Technology (BAT) of Germany to come up with this design. It retailed for around $5000 when new. All seven channels work perfectly. This is a rare opportunity to own an exceptional amplifier!This amp has 150 watts per channel at 8 ohms or 300 WPC with 4 Ohm speakers. There are two giant toroidal transformers feeding the power supply. It is super duper heavy duty. And heavy, too. It weighs 112.4 pounds as per the factory service manual which I have to include. We like to refer it as Monster Amp. It has the ability to take balanced or unbalanced inputs. It also uses surprisingly little electricity even though it is Class AB.I use it for two channel listening. My son gives me a hard time about doing a home theater setup with it but Im currently trying to pare down the herd, not build it up. Im also a two channel guy. .I assume if your looking you know the sound and build quality that this amp represents. Its been the highlight of my main system for the last 20 years and sounds as good today as when new.. Its been in a non-smoking home and was housed a dedicated audio cabinet and was primary used for music. I had bi-amped my main speakers (Mcintosh LS360s) using 4 of the channels and the other three for the center and rear speakers. There is a small area on the top corner of the left front panel that has cosmetic damaged when it was shipped to me as well as one of the channels speaker terminals that was pushed in very slightly. I have included pictures of each area, none of which affected the operations in any way. I had zero plans to ever move it out of my system but came across a BAT VK-6200 at a price I couldnt pass up. It is clear that both amps were designed by the same individual Victor Khomenko.The RDC-7 was $5000 new and was still half price of anything that BAT produced. Its a very large and heavy amplifier.
