Welcome to The Speaker Port! Up for sale is an original replacement 12 subwoofer driver from an Infinity TSS-1100 powered subwoofer. This woofer is in excellent physical condition. It has been impedance check and evaluated for any physical and/or playback issues and is found to be in perfect working condition. (No coil rattle, tears/rips in cone, etc.) Perfect to repair your 1100 sub or to use as a replacement in other models, or for a custom build. Infinity part number: 336056-01. Power handling capability as published by Infinity is 250W (RMS). Measured DC resistance of the woofer is 3.6 Ohms (which means this is a 4 Ohm impedance woofer). We have no further specs for this driver. General Information Who are we? Founded in 2016, The Speaker Port is a small, independently owned/operated business based in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. I started out in repairing/restoring vintage audio speakers and stereo systems but within the first year, took on both home and professional grade systems (PA systems, guitar amps, etc). I work on all components types (receivers, turntables, tape decks, power amps, etc.), makes and models. I hold a degree in Electrical Engineering but spent the better part of my 25 year professional career in Information Technology. Through it all was a deep love for music and music reproduction. Recently, I have established relationships with a number of music stores and studios servicing their own as well as 3rd party customer equipment. I now also offer my own line based on reproducing hard to find, vintage parts using 3D CAD design and printing technology. As we continue to growth, I look forward to being able to provide top shelf Customer services and well as products to go with it. Pricing If you have ever sold anything on eBay, you know that for everything you sell, eBay takes a very steep cut from you sale. EBay also takes money from the cost of shipping too. Annual costs associated with eBay’s make it even worse. On top of that, add on the percentage PayPal wants and as a result…you just lost 10-15% of you overall sale price. In order to sell products, you need to price competitively and fairly. In addition, we have families to feed so we cannot afford to lose money or break even. Please consider this when evaluating the price we set. Shipping All paid for items typically ship within 1 business day, however, we have a 5 day handling time in the event that an unforeseen issue comes up that prevents us from being able to ship immediately. Any item we charge shipping costs for are fairly priced based on cost of actual shipping, proper shipping materials and, unfortunately, the fact that eBay takes a large percentage of the shipping cost for themselves...so a mark-up is required for us to cover out costs. We use new boxes and packing when possible and always ensure enough packing and space is considered to ensure safe arrival of the unit. We will never charge ridiculous, overprices shipping charges for any reason. As noted above, any listing we have that comes with ‘Free Shipping does not mean there is no cost associated with shipping the product. Most, if not all of our “Free Shipping” items are shipped USPS Ground Select (where we can predict the cost to any location domestically). Please keep this in mind when evaluating the cost of our product to others. Unless otherwise specified in the listing, we do not insure any item in transit (beyond whatever the shipping company that is used provides as default.) We also do not require features such as signature requirement. If you want an item shipping with full insurance or adult signature, it is your responsibility to ask for it BEFORE making your purchase and there may be additional costs associated with them. These costs are NOT covered in the listing price and/or shipping costs listed. They will be additional charges that you will be required to pay before the item can ship. If an item is offered to ship internationally, then it will be enabled in the listing. We exclusively use the eBay Global Shipping Program. Note: We do not have any control on what eBay GS charges for international shipping so please keep that in mind. We do know that eBay GS does have a higher cost of shipping but due to wide spread buyer fraud, we have had little choice but to go this route to eliminate claims of users not receiving items when they actually did...or claiming it was damaged when it was not. Warranty and/or product guarantee Unless specifically statement in the list, there is no warranty or guarantee of any kid associated with the item you are buying. Any used/refurbished/restored item we sell is tested and verified to be in working condition before we list/sell the item. Any issues or problems will be clearly stated in the listing. This includes physical, electrical or operational condition. Regarding physical condition, we provide detailed pictures in our listing so please pay attention to them....what you see is what you get. We will not be describing every scratch/scuff/ding that may exist. Note: any statements made about things like sound or picture quality or value are completely the opinion of The Speaker Port and in no way represent a guarantee or statement of fact. For any NEW, 3rd party products that are still sealed in their original OEM packaging are assumed to be in perfect working condition. We will not open these packages to test them or evaluate their contents for any reason. The Speaker Port assumes no responsibility for the operational condition of such items and are offered “as-is”. Fraud Prevention Unfortunately, there are folks out there that try to commit fraud/steal products from us. As a result, The Speaker Port had to make some tough choices about how we do business on eBay. Once such measure is using the eBay Global Shipping service for international purchases. This eliminates buyer claims that they never received an item and/or it was damaged in shipment when it was not. They get away with this because of the lack of end-to-end tracking and insurance with cheaper shipping services. The Speaker Port has also had to resort to photo documenting and UV tagging (marking) products in various ways to prevent users from buying our products, pulling out working parts and installing back failed/damaged ones. We have zero tolerance for this...and WE WILL KNOW! This is considered theft and we are prepared to pursue legal action as necessary. Misc Terms and Conditions Many things can happen during the preparation of an item for shipment. In these extremely rare circumstance (where we have no spares to replace it with), we will offer you a comparable replacement or refund you your purchase (at your choice). We reserve the right to cancel any bids from users with zero (or very low) feedback rating as well as those with excessive negative feedback. Yes, we do our research on people we buy from as well as those we sell to. Unless otherwise stated in the listing, all sales are final.
