Infinity Infinitesimal Four Speakers Pair. A great set of speakers but unfortunately one tweeter has damage so selling for parts at a great price. These were quite great sounding speakers with EMIT round tweeters and small woofers. The woofers had surrounds replaced. Both woofers and the other tweeter produce sound but no further testing has been done. Selling for parts as is. See pictures for condition. Price is for the pair. Pair of Infinity InfiniTesimal II bookshelf speakers plus an amp to run them. I no longer need these speakers, but they are pretty cool and desirable vintage Infinities. I also have a Class D 2.0 amp rated (by the manufacturer) at 300W per channel into 4 ohms. These speakers are 8 ohms which implies 150W. Those are marketing numbers. Realistically, they sound very good and put out a lot of sound with this amp. It was a spare, so I am throwing it in to sweeten the deal. Note, these speakers weigh 12 lbs 11 oz each. They are deceptively heavy and I think that speaks to the quality of the build. I am also including the original box - but it is in rough shape. It appears these would have had some special stands based on the mounting holes. I have no information on what they may have looked like. I used them on a bookshelf. As you can see from the pictures, they are in great shape. All four speakers work and when the switches on the back panel are selected, the tone of the speakers changes appropriately. However we did not have the opportunity to play them for an extended period and since they are in rough cosmetic condition we are listing them as “For parts or not working”. In spite of the rough outer appearance, the insides of the cabinets are pristine, with shiny cast aluminum and clean looking crossover networks. All the components of the crossovers appear perfect: There are no burned or failed electronic components and all the capacitors appear normal sized and not exhibiting any leakage or corrosion. As most of you are aware these speakers feature the Infinity/Watkins dual voice-coil woofers with polypropylene cones and butyl rubber surrounds. The tweeters are Infinity’s EMIT (Electro Magnetic Induction Tweeters). The woofers butyl surrounds are pliable and smooth with no indications of damage or failure.
