For your consideration is this genuine 8 poly woofer used across a few models in the 1980s Reference Series of speakers (not to be confused with the 1990s series with the same name, which is not in the same league quality-wise or sound-wise). Removed from a working RS8 speaker. From my limited research, compatible models include the RS4b, RS6b, RS7b, RS8a and RSe. This is the family of speakers with EMIT tweeters and polydome mids. Good cosmetic condition. This one was professionally refoamed a few years ago so the foam is solid. Impedance measures a healthy 4ohms, in line with factory specs. Part number is 902-4976 or 902-4978 (hard to tell). Dustcap is not fully smooth, has a couple dimples as indicated in the pictures. Picture of speaker is for reference only. SPEAKER CABINET OR TWEETER ARE NOT INCLUDED, only the woofer is included in this sale. Quoted shipping rate applies to destinations in the continental US only. this is for a SINGLE emit tweeter pulled from RSii speakers. if you need 2, please change the qty to 2, or 3 or 4 if you want all of them. the picture is of all the tweeters i have, and is for reference. you will receive only 1 of them. tweeter works as it should. these should fit other models listed, but do your homework before you buy. this magnet is thicker than the 490123 tweeter but should fit, it just has a litle higher power handling. again, this is for ( 1 ) tweeter only

Offered for your consideration is a vintage Infinity #902-4130 ¾ inch (19mm) Polyspherite dome tweeter, removed from my RS4001 speakers, manufactured c.1989. This tweeter was also used in the RS2001, RS3001, and likely some other Infinity models from this period. So, please have a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this capable Infinity high frequency driver is correct for your needs. *Although the listing is written largely in singular to avoid any confusion, two (2) identical Infinity 902-4130 tweeters are available for purchase at time of this writing. Please choose if you’d like to buy one or both in the quantity field at the top of the listing. The shipping cost will be automatically calculated by eBay checkout. This Infinity Polyspherite tweeter is in clean, excellent condition. It has a perfect dome and the faceplate has no scratches or cracks. Plus, the magnet structure is free of chips or oxidation. And, the +/- input terminals are marked for polarity (red = positive) and have never been soldered on the spades. Overall, this tweeter looks practically new! Most importantly, it sounds terrific—strong, clear, and very sparkly with its impressive 22kHz upper limit. Plus, as rated to 125W in the RS4001, it’s a sturdy design as well. And, I tested its DC resistance at 5.6-5.7?, consistent with a 6 ohm nominal driver rating. Lastly, the faceplate measures 3 11/16” diameter, it stands 1” tall, and the three mounting holes are 2?” apart, c-t-c. This is a nice find for someone that has a blown or damaged tweeter in their RS4001 or other suitable model. And, long out of production, it would make a smart spare to have on hand for possible future needs. As pictured and described, this outstanding Infinity ¾” Polyspherite dome tweeter is offered at a competitive price.
