This pair of speakers are tested to be in great working condition, with only minor cosmetic damage in a couple of the corners of one speaker. HOWEVER, that damage was the result fallen from a height of two feet onto wood floor. The fall also broke the banana plug sockets in the back, which I have replaced with new (but not identical-looking) parts. The unit will ship in its original box and will be well padded. Hello I have up for auction a PAIR INFINITY RS10 BOOKSHELF SPEAKERS TESTED WORK NEED RECONED GOOD CABINETS. These speakers came from my vintage Home Stereo that he had set up in the house back in the 90s. It has since been taken down and these speakers have been sitting in storage. Unfortunately the woofers will need re-coned as they have pretty much disentegrated. Despite the cones on these missing they do work. I was able to get sound out them when I hooked them up to my home system. They did make some crackling noise in the background, you can hear the music playing over the sound but it is there. I am not an audiophile and I dont know if reconing these would fix that or not but the do work. The tweeters seemed to sound ok, I dont have any equipment to hook them up tp to test them but I just like the woofers they did make sound. I was able to turn my stereo system up pretty high and they held their own besides the crackling in the background. The cabinets are in good condition, there are some small chips on the back edge of the speakers where the laminate meets the back of the speaker but they are only a couple spots at most on each speaker and they are small. They still look great on display. There is a small hole in the one speaker grill but if you were really concerned about it you could put new material on them or try to stich it. The gold Infinity emblem is present on both grills. The gold finish is worn off quite a bit on the one but again could be repainted. Neither are broke and they are in great condition. These would make a great candidate for a resto and these are getting harder to find as audio becomes more and more digitized. Get these classics while you can! Please look over the many photos that I have taken to have a full understanding of the items condition. Please make sure that you look at all photos and ask all questions before placing a bid or purchasing an item. The item that you see pictured above is the EXACT item that you will receive.
