Im the original owner of the iFi Zen Dac v2 ($199 retail). Additionally up for auction: Im the original owner of the balanced 4.4mm to XLR braided cable ($99 retail). NOTE: this cable is for connecting the 4.4mm pre-out to the input of a balanced XLR external amp -- it is not a cable for your headphones! (The amp feature of this unit is a nice convenience feature, but its best performance is as a standalone DAC in tandem with a headphone or speaker amp.) I use this cable to run to my JBL studio monitor speakers (the volume knob allows me to control volume to the speakers), while the RCA out goes to my headphone amp. A nice budget desktop set-up! Also, if you eventually go up the iFi line to their more expensive DACs, this cable will work with all of them. Only downside here is that I lost the box during a recent move. I’ve had this Bluetooth DAC for a few years but haven’t used it much. It does a great job of connecting music sources (like your phone) to traditional amps to drive wired passive speakers. I would keep it, but my last traditional amp just failed. The unit is in great condition as you can see and comes with the original box, packaging, and cables.
