Up for a no reserve auction is an Audio Control Director Model D3400 16-Channel Amplifier. The unit was tested and although it does power on, the protection circuit (indicated by the red LED on the front) is activated and it doesnt produce any sound. The logs indicate a series of short-circuit faults on channels 5-6 and one similar event on channels 9-10. The logs also show a series of high AC voltage events. Opening up the case I discovered carbonization above one of the 16 Hypex UcD250LP modules (see photo). Could this failed module be the reason why the amp is in protect mode? Nevertheless, I didnt do any further troubleshooting which is why this is being sold as-is for parts only, no returns. The case has some scratches and blemishes as would be expected. The sale DOES NOT come with speaker connectors, rack ears, rack ear screws, or power cord.

This Sonance DSP 8-130 MKII Amplifier (93331) is being sold as is. During testing it was discovered that Inputs 3L, 3R, 4L, and 4R are not working and Output 2R outputs a severely diminished and distorted signal. Everything else is working as it should. Get what see in the picture, 2 UCD180 oems, and 1 UCD250oem. 1 of the UCD180 doesnt work and the 1 UCD250 doesnt work - I bought these from other seller here that refurbishes these, had like a 50% DOA rate, ug. I imagine there are others out there who know the fix on these, like the power mosfet but I not want to fiddle and cant discard. Will safely pack for usps - just going to make free shipping so cost has that in mind. I like these modules while no input buffer brings down to 13db gain, I like to use a nice passdiy preamp to drive these and much more natural sounding not having opamps out in front.
