When I bought it the cassette deck didnt work and dials were very crackly. It has a brand new belt kit and all contacts cleaned and other remedial repairs taken care of courtesy of a professional audio technician. Now working as shown on the photos. I HAVE ORDERED THE MISSING SWITCHES (4 in total) and will update the photos accordingly when they arrive. All lights working UPDATE ON SWITCHES - ONLY ONE MISSING NOW AS IVE PURCHASED 3 and fitted them. There were some things that could not be repaired. The program function was not repaired due to parts being obsolete and unobtainable and the pause button only works if your finger is left depressed on it. Cosmetically it does have age related blemishes, It appears very well preserved which I hope the pictures show. Battery cover present and tray free of corrosion. Power lead included. Hitachi TRK-8800E GhettoBlaster this really does sound as good as it looks! Its a nice powerful box and all functions work well The cassette deck has had new belts so plays beautifully and the program search system & repeat seems to work well Its overall condition is good there are a few scratches here and there but nothing serious and no missing knobs buttons etc, both antennas are in good shape it comes with its original box however the packaging is missing only selling as my collection has gotten a little out of hand I now have more vintage items than I can find display space for so Im cutting back The lighting in the pics is a little poor and uneven due to one of my lamps blowing so theres some shadowing and yellow tints that arent actually there in some shots if I get chance to take some better ones I will update Postage is high due to size weight and insurance so local collection is more than welcome on this item I also have a trk-8290 that I will be listing later There is a short video of this in action on my Instagram for anyone interested https://www.instagram.com/p/CvR2HdWshW4/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
