Here for sale is a Hiatchi stereo radio cassette player in part working order due to the tape deck needing new belts, excellent sounding unit nice and clear very loud, all radio bands pick up stations and has a very sensitive tuner everything eles works perfectly and it does need a good strip down and clean. Full demo will be given. Work carried out - Controls cleaned with Deoxit D5. I am happy to pack this up for the buyer to arrange a courier collection if needed. Hitachi TRK-8300 E Made in Japan.In good overall condition for its age .shows some signs of use/wear on parts of exterior. FM/MW/SW/LW radio works on both mains and battery power (8x LR20 or equivalents)Will need a replacement aerial.There is also a seperate FM aerial input on rear if reqd.Battery compartment clean with no signs of previous battery leakage. Hitachi TRK-8300E Stereo Radio Cassette Player Boombox: Part Working, pls read this looks externally in fairly nice condition, all the buttons are there and the aerial is in good condition. I have tested the radio with batteries and mains and both are working. The batteries are not included and the mains lead is not included either (it is just a standard 8 connection). The radio works on the different channels and sounds very good however below are the problems that I have noticed:1) even when the volume is turned to its minimum the radio still plays and can be heard (on what I would normally think is a volume 2 level)2) the LCD screen has a couple of lines that are not showing up - if you look at the last photo the time should say 18:52 but it looks like 13:52 3) tape is not working, you can hear it turning but nothing is happening.4) the switch that you turn to change between tape and radio is not working and does not feel right when you turn it - I took off the back of the radio to see if something had come loose and you can see that when you turn the knob it connects to a bar that pivots a lever which adjusts a switch.... the pivot I think must have had the plastic broken because you can see that someone has replaced the pivot with a screw and basically this is not effectively working... hence the problem.5) one of the speakers is not working most of the time. In summary if you just want to listen to the radio, and you are happy with the volume not on v low levels then this is ok for you! I hope all that makes sense, this is all that I have noticed, and hence selling for parts. this is a large radio cassette player, it measures approx 48 x 13 x 28cm (Excluding the handle) please examine the photos to see what you will receive,thank you for looking

Hi here I have 2 radio cassette players that I am selling as not working Hitachi radio - the radio works but I haven’t got a cassette to try it Sharp radio - it radio comes on and tunes in but when you move it it goes off and comes back on and sound comes out of the left speaker only Please look at the photos Thanks for looking
