This is a splendid example of an HITACHI HT-1 DC Servo Turntable - tested, working, in excellent condition - 9.0 of 10. Used. Please see all photos for detail cosmetics. Tested with an Onkyo TX-80 receiver [not included], a vintage 33 rpm music record [not included], a pair of Paradigm Atom speakers [not included] and Pioneer SE-2 headphones [not included]. Music sounded accurate and pleasing. The controls include a switch to lift or lower the tone arm. Pictures have been included showing the tone arm in both the up position [above the spinning record] and in the down position [on the spinning record]. Consideration should be given to replacing the belt. Aside: In my personal opinion, based on 30 years as an audiophile, this HITACHI HT-1 DC Servo Turntable would be an impressive addition to your vintage stereo electronics collection / home theater [including Pioneer / Kenwood / Sony / Yamaha / Marantz equipment – not included].
