Hitachi CX-200 (1988) Boom Box Getto Blaster – Technikgeschichte teildefekt Nach Dachbodenfund bei der Mutter eines Kollegen habe hier noch einen zünftigen Gettoblaster vom Typ Hitachi CX-200 vorzuliegen, den ich an dieser Stelle gern im Auftrag anbieten möchte. Ab Ende der 80er Jahre tobte ein erbitterter Kampf um die Vorherrschaft zwischen der digitalen CD und der konventionellen Kassette. Beide Systeme hatten ihre jeweiligen Vorteile und so baute ab 1988 die Innovationsschmiede Hitachi den vorliegenden CX-200 einfach mit beiden Systemen. Vom Design her eine interessante Mischung aus 80er und 90er Jahre hatte es mit seinen großen Lautsprechern und zuschaltbarem 3d-Klang einen beeindruckenden Sound und kam bei Bedarf auch ohne Strom aus. Mit den Abmessungen konnte es noch gut als Gettoblaster durchgehen und wenn man sich den Brocken mal schulterte und nach draußen ging, konnte man damit in der Hood den King markieren. Bei den Frequenzbändern bot der CX-200 immerhin noch Langwelle, UKW und Mittelwelle. Das CX-200 bot eine solide technische Ausstattung und positionierte sich als Modell der gehobenen Mittelklasse Das vorliegende Radio war augenscheinlich längere Zeit in Gebrauch und hat entsprechend diverse Gebrauchsspuren (nach über 30 Jahren üblich Kratzer am Gehäuse sowie Verschmutzungen an schwer erreichbaren Stellen). Die Regler für Lautstärke und Klang kratzen so gut wie gar nicht. Radioempfang im UKW-Bereich funktionierte sehr gut, ebenfalls das Kassettenteil. (BTW… der 3D-Klag hört sich dabei wirklich Hammer an!) Das CD-Laufwerk ließ sich leider nicht zum Arbeiten zu bringen…Es läuft einfach nicht an. Lieferung inklusive einer Kassette zum selbst testen.
