THESE MUTHAS ROCK! I have to fix my truck or I would keep them. I have them hooked up to my Yamaha home theater. My Yamaha receiver is a 9.2 with plenty of power but Im a drummer so my hearing has some challenges and these have been a blessing with the dial hardly turned up. Hitachi HMA-8500 Mk II rated 100 watts per channel into 8?, 35.2 lbs./16 kg A classic vintage MOSFET class AB stereo power amplifier with extremely low distortion. 20~20,000 Hz at 0.005% THD or 1 kHz at 4? or 8? at 0.005% THD. Its a real dual-mono deign. It even has two power transformers as well as two sets of power supply rectifiers and capacitors. Each transformer has its own input voltage selector! Ive owned them for over 10 yrs. They work great. The caps are original and as far as I know never replaced. Sometimes the VU meter on one wants to stick and unstick. Doesnt all the time. The sound is audiophilic. I have used them in mono form and that is the best. MOSFET sounds natural and I like it more than solid state. This is a very rare amp and its hard finding just one now but here is two! For audiophiles as me they are one of the best vintage amps you can get your hands on. They are a little dusty but in excellent cosmetic shape almost perfect. The white marks are dust and not a cosmetic damage at all. They look dark in their natural new state.
