Je précise que le test a été réalisé en utilisant seulement la fonction tuner car la partie cassette est actuellement Hors Service ; en effet, lorsqu'on actionne Play on peut distinctement entendre un bruit de fonctionnement, mais rien ne se passe, les têtes de lecture reste immobile, problème classique de courroies à charger ? et/ou autres ? à déterminer... Néanmoins, la radio fonctionne trés bien. Les 2 éléments tuner/cassette détachables sont sans anomalies visuelles et leurs compartiments piles sont trés propres; non testés en mode Walkman, alimentés par les piles. À noter que cet ensemble a été correctement stocké depuis plusieurs années. Lorsqu'on relie l'appareil sur le secteur, un voyant vert s'allume en façade. À l'allumage, avec le signal provenant du Tuner le bargraph en façade s'active ; l'ensemble des voyants et commandes répondent bien. L'équalizer est bien réactif, j'ai pu par ailleurs observer que les boutons Bass Treble ne modifiaient pas le son, spécificité de l'appareil ? une réserve donc de ma part sur ce point; la Balance elle fonctionne correctement.
