Hier bieten Sie auf eine echte HiFi-Rarität! Der Hitachi DA 1000 CD-Player ist einer der ersten CD-Player überhaupt und sehr gesucht. Das Gerät lief beim Vorbesitzer einwandfrei, bis dieser die Steckverbindungen im Gerät löste, um das Gerät zu reinigen. Nach dem Wiederaufstecken ließ sich das Gerät zwar noch einschalten, reagierte aber nicht mehr auf die Tasten. Ich habe das Gerät naiverweise in der Hoffnung gekauft, dass ich einen offensichtlichen Steckfehler finde. Leider habe ich auf den ersten Blick nichts gefunden. Da ich keine Elektrokenntnisse habe, wird das schöne Vintage-Gerät nun wieder verkauft. Ich biete das Gerät ausdrücklich als defekt an und übernehme keine Garantie für irgendwelche Funktionen. Äußerlich sind kaum Gebrauchsspuren zu erkennen. Ich denke also, dass der Hitachi ideal für Sammler oder Bastler ist., die sich damit auskennen. Ein Service Manual habe ich in digitaler Form. Ansonsten gibt es kein Zubehör zu dem Gerät. Viel Spaß und Erfolg beim Steigern!

This awesome and rare hitachi brand cd player was one of the first cd players available way back in 1983. It came out months after the brand new media was available and was sold under a few different brands, but made by hitachi. Everything works, and it looks awesome when lit up and running

Full operation has been confirmed, all indicator lights work, and it plays a disc exactly as it should. I’ve owned it for about a year or so, and am just parting with it because I didn’t find myself using it nearly as much as I thought I would, so now I’m giving myself a chance to make some room in my HiFi for the next cool thing. I purchased this DA-1000 on eBay from an audio seller in Germany, who I believe conducted a partial restoration of the unit. As this machine is an EU model, it is multi-voltage and can be used in the United States by simply setting the voltage selector on the rear (pictured) to 120V. The power cord also terminates in an EU-style plug, but I currently have an EU to US adapter on the end, and it works like a dream — I’ve never had any issues, and I nearly forgot it was there as I was writing this. You may know that the DA-1000 is a first generation CD player, manufactured and released circa 1983. As such, please do not expect it to work the same as a modern-day unit. Seeking between tracks is fairly slow, but that was the standard of CD players at the time. This is not a practical unit — it doesn’t like scuffed discs, it can’t play MP3CDs or CD-roms (because they didn’t exist when it was made) — it is only happy with clean, factory-made CDs. Seeing as those are still most common, that has not been an issue to me. But what the DA-1000 lacks in practicality, it easily makes up for in style and presentation. I don’t call myself an audiophile by any means — just an enthusiast — but it sounds great to my ears. I will be locking the transport screw on the bottom of the unit for shipping.
