With a 35 Ohm impedance and average sensitivity of 93Db at 1mW, these will produce good results with strong portable sources, but they will nevertheless benefit greatly from a good Desktop Amp or Portable Dedicated amplifier, as they require a good Current Capability and a decent Voltage Swing. Hifiman HE-400i Planar Magnetic Over Ear Headphones, good used. First pair of planer magnetic headphone and I think they sound really good for the investment. I have focal utopia to compare them to, and the base is better on these. They are in good condition also.. except there is some scuffing and scraping wear on the outside of the headband on top.
