Well so heres the deal. We sold this a few weeks ago and it was working fine when it went out. The buyer responded saying it did not and sent it back. Turns out he was right. Somewhere along the way it must have got slammed in shipping. It powers up, it passes audio in monitor mode, but it will not read any disc of any kind. Bad laser alignment? bad lens? Who knows. We found another one! For sale is a HHB CDR-830 BurnIT Plus CD rack mountable CD recorder. This one has been bench tested and works as it should. You may even get a bonus CD with this with me singing on it when I tested it. This unit lived in a road case with a Juice Goose and a compressor for many years and sat next to front of house while we would make direct off the board CD burns of live sets.
