This listing is for a set of three Klipsch Heresy 1 Tweeters, designed for use with Klipsch Heresy speakers. Two of the tweeters (square magnet) do not work and need new diaphragms, while the other on, a cylinder type works perfectly. These tweeters are in great and outstanding cosmetic condition. Replacement diaphragms can be found on eBay for around $20 each and is a simple repair to make. If you fix these you can sell them for around $150-$170 each. I would do this myself but I do not have the time to do this. The end result is my loss your gain. These tweeters are extremely hard to find especially as cosmetically perfect as all three of these are.

Der Text muss per Fotos mitgeteilt werden, weil er für die Beschreibung zu lang ist. Die beiden Lautsprecher werden jeweils in einem gesonderten Paket versandt. Die Versandkosten für ein Paket trägt der Verkäufer, für das andere der Käufer. Basslautsprecher Modell und technische Informationen Becker Modell 912A138, Made in USA, wohl vor 1980 Aluminium Dustcap mit Belüftung 4 Ohm sehr hart aufgehängt Die Firma Becker Electronics Manufacturing Corporation, East Durham, N.Y., stellte (so in einem Beitrag von 2016 von US-Insidern/Angestellten dieser oder ihnen zugeordneter Firmen) auch Lautsprecher für Firmen wie JBL, Altec Lansing und Jensen sowie Lautsprechersysteme für Sony, Harmon Kardon und Kenwood her (https://www.stereophile.com/content/mystery-speakers-1). Ein deutscher Anbieter schrieb 150/300 Watt, 50-3800 Hz, 103 dB. Aber: Die Angaben erscheinen zwar möglich, sind aber eher geschönt. Bis zu 300 Watt hätte meistens, zumindest im PA-Betrieb, wohl eher einen doppelt so großen Magneten vorausgesetzt, sodass sich die Frage nach dem Messverfahren aufdrängt. 103 dB ist zwar ein absolut realistischer Wert, aber für welche Frequenzen gilt das? Und die 3800 Hz sind nicht mit sehr viel Druck möglich, denn Stimmen erscheinen sehr gedämpft und liegen doch nur bei ca. 200-2500 Hz. Gedacht war der Lautsprecher aber tatsächlich als Breitbänder, denn er spielte in einer 2-Wege-Konstruktion mit Piezo-Hochtönern ohne eine Weiche. So ist der Töner trotz Alu-Dustcap für die Anhebung im Mittelton eher ein Midbass-Töner, würde ich denken. Die Leistung müsste man eher auf moderate 70 Watt oder etwas mehr schätzen. Ein Mitteltöner oder sehr tief einsetzender Hochtöner wäre nötig, Piezos allein wie in der Original-Installation gehen gar nicht, da sie klanglich grauslich sind und auch nicht passen. Zustand Technisch und optisch vorne gut bzw. befriedigend bis ausreichend, getestet. Körbe sind hinten etwas rostig und wirken so, als hätte man etwas Klarlack auf dem Korb um den Magneten herum verwendet. Alu-Dustcaps beide mit Weißleim neu befestigt, der eine steht am Rand etwas hoch, ein Spalt zwischen Dustcap und Membran existiert wegen des Leims aber nicht, siehe Fotos. Ein durchsichtiger klarer Rand befindet sich auf den Aluminium-Dustcaps. Die Sicken, Spinne, Schwingspule sind wohl im Original, die Dustcaps auch. Keine Risse oder Verfärbungen, aber die etwas hochstehende Dustcap hat eine kleine sehr flache schmale längliche Beule. Für ca. 45 Jahre Alter sind beide relativ gut erhalten. Hochtöner Bauart Es handelt sich um je 2 Piezo-Hörner, parallel geschaltet. Eine Weiche existiert nicht. Diese Bauform entspricht optisch der des klassischen Mini-Hochton-Horns. Eigentlich saßen sie hinter je einer Schalllinse/Diffusor. Dieser Diffusor wird nicht geliefert. Zustand Sie wurden alle vier getestet, alle funktionieren, doch ist einer merklich leiser als die anderen, ein zweiter etwas leiser als die verbleibenden zwei. Dies dürfte dem üblichen Einsatz mit zu viel Lautstärke ohne Weiche geschuldet sein, weil sie (so der Mythos) keine brauchten und fast unzerstörbar seien. Gehäuse Größe Die Maße ähneln denen der Klipsch Heresy in einer frühen Version, also ca. 54 cm Höhe (Klipsch: 54,3 cm), 39 cm Breite (Klipsch: 39,5) bei allerdings mehr Tiefe: anstelle von 33,4 cm stehen hier ca. 39 cm. Die Anschlüsse sind Bananenbuchsen ohne (!) Klemmvorrichtung. Material Walnussfurnier ca. 19 mm mit verschraubter und daher wechsel- oder bearbeitbarer Schallwand für rückseitige Töner-Montage. Es scheint sich um Möbelholz der 70er zu handeln, Holz der Schallwand wohl auch Möbelholz mit unbekanntem Furnier. Für das Holz des Gehäuses s. Foto mit Loch zur ehemaligen Kabeldurchführung durch die Rückwand mit beidseitigem Furnier. Zustand Die Gehäuse weisen einige Blessuren (Kratzer, Abstoßungen) auf, an einer Stelle einen mit Furnier aufgefüllten Abplatzer, je ein kleines Loch an der Rückseite unten zur ehemaligen Durchführung der Anschlusskabel, bei einem eine ca. 1,5 - 2 cm lange schmale Kerbe. Die Seitenteile sind etwas, die Unterseiten stark verkratzt; die Oberseiten sind uneben, als hätten sie wiederholt mal etwas Feuchtigkeit abbekommen und wirken irgendwie als wäre mal eine dünne Lackschicht aufgetragen worden. Aber es gibt keinen Hinweis auf Übergänge zu den Seitenteilen oder irgendwelche andere Indikatoren. Sie sind durchaus bearbeitbar, würde ich sagen, also mit feiner Körnung flächig anzuschleifen bzw. auch abzubeizen. Drei oder vier Schrauben pro Lautsprecher vorne sind nur eingesteckt, weil sie viel zu kurz sind. Je eine weitere Schraube ist wohl einmal beim Montieren abgebrochen, sodass man diese Löcher nicht mit langen Schrauben versehen kann, doch bleiben genug andere Löcher für eine gleichmäßige Passung. Die Ausschnitte für die Hochtöner sind etwas ungleichmäßig. Nägel sind von außen an der Rückwand sichtbar, aber relativ gleichmäßig und plan verbaut. Gehäuseart Geschlossen wie die Klipsch, aber (noch) ungedämmt. Die Schallwand ist zwar passgenau aber noch nicht gedichtet. Was zu tun ist Bearbeitung Gehäuse Abbeizen und anschleifen. Schallwand entweder erneuern oder die Ausschnitte für die Hochtöner soweit nötig schließen, anschleifen, nachlackieren. Nutzbar sind die Ausschnitte wenigstens teilweise, wenn man ein Mitteltonhorn anders als bei der Klipsch oben positioniert. Ausschnitte für zu verwendende Töner anbringen. Dichtband hinter der Schallwand ankleben, Lücken zwischen den Montageleisten vorher schließen, die Löcher zur Kabeldurchführung ebenso. Leisten für weniger Resonanzen und noch mehr Stabilität in die Kanten leimen. Anschlüsse hinten ggf. neu unter Hinzunahme von Unterlegscheiben festschrauben. Bespannung Hier würde ich wenig Arbeit investieren. Um die Tieftöner aber ein wenig vor UV-Licht und neugierigen Händen zu schützen, wäre Akustik-Bespannstoff in Schwarz zwischen Töner und Schallwand von hinten anzubringen oder die gesamte Schallwand vorne damit zu überziehen. Auch die Alu-Dustcap fällt so nicht so sehr auf. Der Überzug der Schallwand verlangt wenigstens eine vertiefte Anbringung bei Frontmontage, also Fräsen. Für einen eventuellen Kalotten-Hochtöner: Empfehlenswert wäre ein schwarzes Lüftergitter in kleiner Ausführung als Schutz vor Händen und sei es beim Staubwischen. Das Lüftergitter kann man mit Akustik-Bespannung kaschieren und damit auch die Kalotte ein wenig vor Licht schützen. Dämpfung Zum Eliminieren von Gehäuseschwingungen sollten zur Versteifung in alle Kanten der Gehäuse Kanthölzern geklebt und verschraubt werden. Sowohl die Vorder- und Rückseite als auch die Seitenwände sollten miteinander fest verbunden werden. Möglich, aber wohl nicht zwingend: Anbringen von entweder Bitumenmatten (Vorsicht, Automatten können evtl. Ausdünstungen haben) oder schwerem Wollfilz. Auch Teppichreste mit Gummierung funktionieren, haben aber oft Ausdünstungen von Weichmachern, die einen Basslautsprecher verändern können. Hier wären sehr alte Reste von Vorteil, aber trotzdem stark risikobehaftet. Besser sind Weichfaserplattenreste flächig verklebt. Nichts muss bis in die Kanten reichen. Empfehlenswert ist offenporiger dicker Schaumstoff (z.B. aus alten Matratzen) oder Noppenschaumstoff an den Wänden, weniger gegen Dröhnen als gegen Durchsprechen. Man kann mit dieser Lösung und den Versteifungen schon ausreichend gut fahren. Früher arbeitete man auch schon mit Schaumstoff aber auch mit Filz oder Glasfaser (klanglich gut, gesundheitlich nicht so sehr). Dämmung Leichte Dämmung mit Schafwolle oder Polyestervlies, denkbar sind günstige dünne Sommerdecken oder Kissen von Ikea. Diese vor allem hinter dem Bass locker anbringen und nicht stopfen. Heiß werdende Bauteile nicht damit berühren. Zweck: Klangliche Volumenerhöhung, Filtern von unerwünschten Wellen. Bestückung Bestückt werden sollte das Gehäuse mit Hoch- und Mitteltontönern sowie einer passenden Frequenzweiche. Ausführlichere Vorschläge sind in den Textfotos nachlesbar.
