If you know your Schiit, then you know this will give you AWEsome audio! Up for sale is a Schiit audio stack, consisting of a Schiit Modi 3E DAC and Schiit Magni 3 Heresy headphone amplifier. I purchased these a year ago, and used them twice for a total of about an hour. They give AMAZING sound, but Ive eventually had to concede that Im more of a speaker guy than a headphone guy, which is why Im selling them. They were taken from their boxes and put into place in my entertainment system and then never moved, so theyre in like-new condition. Schiit is famous for being an American company that makes high-end audio electronics at affordable prices, and these two pieces are evidence of that. The Modi 3E DAC does an amazing job of translating digital audio into accurate analog sound, and the high/low gain switch on the Magni 3 Heresy allows it to deliver clean, punchy amplification to both high and low sensitivity headphones. The noise floor was below audibility to my ears through my Sennheiser HD 600s. If youre listening to music using a laptop or computer sound output, then you should be pleasantly surprised at the upgrade in sound quality these two components will give you. The two pieces will be shipped in their original boxes, packed within a shared box, so theyll be well protected. All the original parts and documentation are included, in their respective boxes.
