Cabinets are in good condition for their age. Although one red terminal looks cracked it is a reflection from the brass shorting bar. These terminals are the only complaint I have had with this series Klipsch. Fortunately a better terminal was used on the Heresy IV . Perform excellently. Loudspeakers - one pair, manufacturer - Paul W. Klipsch, date - 1982, model - Heresy, version - II with risers, finish - hand oiled walnut wood veneer. I have owned Heresys, Lascalas, and presently RB-81 IIs and Heresy IIs. I have previously designed and constructed several sets of loudspeakers. I am currently building a pair of (horn based) loudspeakers and will no longer need the Heresys. Shipping is $200.00 and will be Fed. Ex. ground. Local pick up with shortened milage is available details below. Shipping is Fed EX $200.00 Handling time is 2 days. All original build and parts are included. Klipsch uses high quality birch plywood. However, I have changed and mounted different back panels to greatly improve the speaker wire connection variety and solidity. The use of 3/4 medium density fiberboard also adds weight and decreases vibration and unwanted resonances. The panels are mounted using a 1/2 strip of silicone insulation with adhesive backing and 1/4 bead of silicone sealant/adhesive caulk. Using screws 1/4 longer but identical to the original screws in both diameter and thread count plus decorative washers then hand tightened. The back panels have terminals with 5-way gold plated binding posts for improved external speaker wire hook-up. Two 12-gauge OFC speaker wires with crimped spade and ring type terminations are used for connection from internal terminal posts to the crossover. No solder. They are secured to the terminal with gold plated washers and cap nuts. The original terminal to crossover hook-up wiring is also not soldered and also uses crimped spade and ring terminations tightened only with screws secured into the plywood back panel without additional conductive metal. The original plywood back panels with original terminals, original 2 internal wires for connection to crossover, and original screws will be all included with the speakers. All other parts of the internal construction and crossover remain original. If the buyer wants to use the original back, its just a job of removing the screws and reattaching the original two wires, or just use the wires that are now there since no solder is involved, from the interior terminal posts to the crossover by loosening and retightening the terminal screws. Again, please see all photos for very clear visual detail of the back panel and speaker wire hook up improvements. Also, the original back panel. The original and new speaker hook up terminals are also easy to compare. The crossover has been cleaned and treated with an application of Pro Gold. Refer to the photos to determine the care and respect taken in making this recommended modification to also be easily swapped out with the original unaltered back plate. The Heresy speaker line from Klipsch is historically and heavily reviewed, information is in abundance on multiple sites as are detailed specifications, discussions, knowledge and opinions abound. I ask that you benefit from that as needed to save my poor typing skills from continuing to make errors. Look closely and carefully at the many photos I have posted as these are your description for determining condition, and desirability. The interior condition is also clearly photographed, and an application of Pro Gold applied to all exposed wiring. A note about shipping. I do have boxes and packaging materials for each speaker. Klipsch KP-250II (Profi-Heresy) • GREAT SOUND • GEHEIMTIPPHeute biete hier mein Paar dieser amtlichen Lautsprecher mit Zubehör an, leider kann ich sie nicht mitnehmen, sonst würde ich sie nie verkaufen.Die Klipsch Professional Modelle sind in Europa weniger bekannt, in den USA werden sie auch immer seltener angeboten und wenn, dann auch nur ohne internationalen Versand. Im US-amerikanischen Klipschforum werden die KP-250 aus HOPE, Arkansas hoch geschätzt und Sätze wie „... they will smoke your Heresys in one breath …“ und „…hier wurde noch geklotzt und nicht gekleckert…“ werden dort geäußert. Auf der Unterseite der Lautsprecher befinden sich auch hier serienmäßig 4 Löcher für die Befestigung auf Ständern (siehe Fotos), wie im Profi-Bereich üblich. Intern sind die Lautsprecher schon für Bi-amping vorkonfiguriert (wenn man intern das Kabel, dass vom Woofer zum Mittel- und Hochtonhorn verbunden ist, abzieht). Dann muss man aber über Speakonstecker an die Box und entsprechend verkabeln. (Infos gibt es im US-Klipschforum). Ich habe die Lautsprecher immer normal (kein Bi-amping) über Chinchstecker im 2.1 oder 2.0-Betrieb gehört.WEITERES ZUBEHÖR (gebe ich gratis dazu): 1 Mitteltonhorn KP-66-E Ich lege noch zusätzlich ein Original-Mitteltonhorn KP-66-E gratis dazu, da der Kunststoffausatz des Mitteltonhornes in einem Lautspecher mal geklebt wurde. Es wurde Spezial-Industriekleber verwendet, der bombenfest hält und eher an einer anderen Stelle bricht als an der geklebten. Dies hat auf den Klang keinerlei Auswirkungen, der Treiber ist einwandfrei! Wen dies aus optischen Gründen dennoch stören sollte, kann es ja austauschen. Mich hat es nie gestört. Spätestens wenn man die Lautsprecher mal angeschlossen hat, will man sowieso nur noch eines: HÖREN! 4 Hochton-Diaphragmen Serienmäßig sind Kunststoff-Diaphragmen in den Hochtönern verbaut, ich habe sie jedoch mit dem im US-Klipschforum empfohlenen Crites Titan-Diaphragmen ausgetauscht. Ich lege noch 3x Original-Diaphragmen (Kunststoff) sowie 1x Titanium Diaphragma gratis dazu. Wer sie mal austauschen möchte: es dauert ungefähr 15 Minuten für beide Hochtöner. Im US-Klipschforum bevorzugen ca. 70% die Titan-Diaphragmen und 30% die Poly(Kunststoff)-Diaphragmen. Aus meiner subjektiven Erfahrung spielen klanglich die Kunststoff-Diaphragmen etwas mehr aus dem Mitteltonbereich heraus, die Titan-Diaphragmen klingen etwas brillanter und hochauflösender im Hochtonbereich. 2 Neutrik-Speakon-Stecker Ich habe hier noch 2 Stück Neutrik-Speakon-Stecker übrig, die gebe ich ihnen gerne dazu.WEITERE INFOS: Wer mehr Infos oder Unterlagen benötigt, dem empfehle ich das amerikanische Klipschforum: https://community.klipsch.com Die Mitglieder sind auch sehr nett, hilfsbereit und kompetent.PERSÖNLICHE SUBJEKTIVE KLANGERFAHRUNGEN: Ich hatte u. a. über 20 Jahre die Heresy I, die waren schon nicht schlecht, die hier angebotene KP-250II ist aber durch ihre stärkeren Treiber und Systeme eine ganz andere Liga! Dort wo die Heresy schon an ihre klanglichen Grenzen gelangt, bleibt die KP-250II völlig unbeeindruckt und liefert souverän ab. Überhaupt kenne ich keine anderen Lautsprecher, die so „livehaftig“ echt klingen. Auch sind hier Details in der Aufnahme zu hören, die bei vielen anderen Lautsprechern einfach untergehen. Den Klang würde ich als sehr transparent, offen, kräftig und neutral bezeichnen. Die Töne sind schön von den Lautsprechern losgelöst und füllen auch bei kleinen Lautstärken selbst die hintersten Ecken im Raum mit Musik, die räumliche Abbildung in der Breite und in der Tiefe ist absolut hervorragend, selbst im 2.0 oder 2.1-Betrieb ist die räumliche Abbildung schon 3D-artig. Egal ob Filme oder Live-Musikvideos — hier ist man vollkommen im Geschehen — Gänsehaut garantiert! Ein Heimkino wird „großes Kino“ und ein Konzertvideo zum Livekonzert. Da die KP-250II sehr effiziente Lautsprecher sind (102db) braucht man zuhause auch keine Monster-Endstufen. Ich hatte sie schon an 2 x 5 Watt Trioden-Röhrenverstärkern, kleinen Transistor- oder Chip-Verstärkern und auch an verschiedenen AV-Receivern gehört und sie klangen eigentlich bei allen Verstärkern gut. Bei ungünstiger Aufstellung und nicht optimalen Räumen kann ein DSP oder eine Raumkorrektur vom AV-Receiver noch etwas punkten. Auch kann bei geringen Lautstärken am späten Abend etwas EQ-ing wie Loudness etc. etwas hilfreich sein. Vollkommen überrascht war ich vor einigen Wochen als ich die Klipsch mal kurz an einen handgroßen TPA3255-Amp anschloss. Dieser kleine Chinakracher wollte an Breitbändern und Regallautsprechern so gar nicht recht klingen. Kurz die Bananenstecker in die Klipsch gesteckt, — im Radio lief gerade „Mustang Sally“ von Wilson Pickett. — Hier war er wieder der „Great Sound“ wie ich ihn noch aus den großen US-amerikanischen Discos der Siebziger in Erinnerung hatte — und wie geschmeidig die KP-250II darauf „abtanzten“. Es lag wohl aber eher an der Qualität der Lautsprecher als am Verstärker — der kleine Amp ging leider trotzdem wieder zurück.SUBWOOFER: (empfohlenes anderes Angebot bei Ebay von mir) Wer die beiden untersten Oktaven ordentlich hören möchte, braucht noch einen Subwoofer. In einem anderen Angebot biete ich einen passenden amtlichen Beyma 18 Zoll Subwoofer sehr günstig an. Zusammen mit einem Paar Klipsch KP-250II betrieben, ist man damit anstatt auf Heresy-Niveau eher schon in Richtung Cornwall unterwegs (im Tiefbass und in der Gesamtleistung sogar besser aufgestellt). Selling my Schiit Modi 3+ and Magni Heresy combo. Both are in great working condition and show no major cosmetic flaws. Perfectly paired with the Sennheiser HD 6XX, these units deliver exceptional sound quality for its price range and even beyond. Although I dont have the box for the Modi 3, rest assured, I will pack them together with sufficient protection. The Magni Heresy comes with its original box.

Lightly used Schiit Magni 3 Heresy edition. Bought this along with the Modi 3+, and Beyerdynamic DT770 cans for my girlfriend. She liked the headphones, but was not interested in the DAC and amp... This edition of the Magni 3 differs from the standard Magni by using op amps instead of discrete parts in the circuit. There may be small differences in sound compared to the regular Magni 3. You can try reading comparisons of the two but I am a believer in hearing it for yourself. I have not had much time to +critically listen to the amp but I would bet it sounds excellent. Ive owned the Magni 1 in the past and was impressed by the value for the money so I expect this one to be great too. includes 1/4(male) to 3.5mm(female) phone plug adapter, RCA cables, and power brick.
