Helius Aurum tonearm. We are selling this as is spares/repairs, no returns or refunds because its untested and has some obvious faults that need correcting. The red wire for the cartridge looks like it is not likely to be long enough and is missing the cartridge tag, The white wire has been extended, the black wire is missing the cartridge tag. The fingerlift has for the headshell has a mark that looks like it has been caught with a soldering iron and finally the cord for the anti skating mechanism is missing and needs to be replaced. There could be other faults. Having identified these obvious problems we have not investigated further.

Helius Orion tonearm in great condition. The gold finish gleams. This was another of the great super arms alongside the Zeta, PU3 and to a lesser degree the Ittok. This one is in great condition and has spent its life on a lovely walnut Pink Triangle Export (also for sale but not included). The arm cable was modified to be terminated in a phono connection block so that it didnt interfere with the suspension (and you can change the cable). Ill include a custom Audio Origami calbe that was taken from my PU7 in the auction. No cartridge or turntable is included in this auction. If you buy the Orion and the Export, Ill throw in the rather nice Helius armboard. Sorry, UK postage or collection only.

VINTAGE HELIUS DESIGN ORION TONEARM + ARMBOARD FOR MICHELL TURNTABLES

Helius Scorpio III tonearm (shown in video on a Dunlop Systemdek IIX which is for sale separately in my other auction) Comes with an excellent, barely used Audio Technica AT-95E cartridge. No obvious marks, comes with anti-skating counterweight. Sold strictly on a spares and parts basis only as youll need to install it in a turntable. Pix will be added... Collection from Bedford (MK44) is fine, happy to demo. No zero-rated buyers please.

For your consideration is a rare Helius Orion tonearm, it is in very good working condition.

This turntable runs really well on the motor & is beautiful. Has been handed down to me, but after much deliberation Ive decided to sell as I cannot get the use out of it that it deserves. It needs the tonearm realigning, and I have included some documentation that would help to guide through this process. I was going to attempt myself, but gave up & couldnt afford to take it to a pro servicer - I have no experience before with turntables so didnt want to meddle. It has the original box & documentation, and is fitted with a Helius Scorpio tonearm and a cartridge that Im not sure of the brand on. It is important to note that the plastic lid has fractured a little around the hinges - this doesnt affect it & Ive read its a common flaw but thought it best to point out. As well as this, the lid has a melted groove in the top left corner & some marks to the top (all exterior). Also, the tonearm is raised enough that the lid rests on it as it is closed. All of these are pictured, but none of them affect the overall look or usability of the turntable. I can deliver on this but at a cost - would much prefer collection/drop off. I can drop off within 25 miles of my location, or happy to answer the door to a pick up. Costs on delivery would go to ensuring safety of the unit.
