Heed Orbit 2 - externe Motorregelung für Laufwerke mit Riemenantrieb & Synchronmotor! Heed Audio ist ein ungarisches Unternehmen, das technisch und historisch an die Entwicklungen von Richard Hay und seiner Firma Ion Systems anknüpft. Besonders erfolgreich sind der wiederaufgelegte Obelisk-Vollverstärker, die Phonovorstufen und die Orbit Plattenspieler-Netzteile. Die Heed Orbit Netzteile sind für klassische riemengetriebene Hifi-Laufwerke mit Synchronmotoren geringer Leistung gedacht. Eignen sich unter anderem besonders für Spieler von Rega, Nottingham, Kuzma, Systemdek, einige alte Thorensmodelle und natürlich den Linn LP12 mit Basik-Stromversorgung. Das Orbit 2 wird einfach zwischen Netzstecker und Steckdose angeschlossen, es müssen keine weiteren Anpassungen vorgenommen werden. Nach dem Einschalten läuft das angeschlossene Laufwerk mit 33 Umdrehung und nach einem Druck auf die einzige Taste am Orbit wechselt die Geschwindigkeit auf 45 Umdrehungen. Das lästige Riemenumlegen bei Rega, NAD und ähnlichen britischen Klassikern entfällt. Durch den aufbereiteten und quarzkontrollierten 220V-Strom entfallen etwaige Schwankungen und Störungen aus dem Stromnetz, der Motor kann unter optimalen Bedingungen arbeiten. Lt. Hersteller und etlichen Reviews steigert sich auch die Klangqualität hörbar. Ich habe das Orbit mit einem Rega Planar 3 betrieben, testweise auch an Planar 2, Linn Basik, Thorens TD-160 MKI und 165 MKI. Funktioniert mit Synchronmotoren für 220 und 230 Volt bis zu einer Leistung von 3 Watt. Größere Motoren, wie z.B. im Lenco L-75 oder mit einem vorgeschalteten Netzteil (Pro-Ject, Rega 24V, Thornes 16 V) lassen sich mit dem Orbit nicht betreiben. Das Netzteil ist in einem gepflegten und sauberen Zustand mit leichteren Gebrauchsspuren, kleiner Kratzer an den Kanten und der Front. Technisch einwandfrei, das Gerät wurde nie geöffnet oder repariert. Netzkabel und Adapter - Netzausgang auf Euro-Stecker - liegen bei.
