The headphones are supplied with two cables: One long (3m?) 1/4 stereo jack plug terminated cable.One shorter (1.2m) cable terminated with 3.5mm stereo mini-jack & 1/4 jack adaptor. No smoking household. I bought these to replace my ageing HD600s only to find that I prefer the sound of the originals!I have to acknowledge that the HD660S are easier to drive and have a punchier bass response.However, I prefer the HD600 midrange and high frequencies - especially with OTL tube amplification.If you like the Sennheiser HD600 bass & mid-range, but find the high-frequencies too aggressive, then the HD660S may be for you.I have only used these headphones for +/- 10-hours given my personal sound quality preference. Ich biete einen Sennheiser HD 660S in absolut neuwertigem Zustand an. Ich habe nur wenige Stunden mit dem Kopfhörer gehört, ihn äußerst pfleglich behandelt und ihn in dem originalen Karton aufbewahrt. Es handelt sich um die sog. „Silent Revision 2“ des HD 660S (noch mal zur Klarstellung und Differenzierung: es handelt sich NICHT um den „HD 660S2“ (der eigentlich eine „Rev. 3“ ist)!), in die Sennheiser Verbesserungen in einem Frequenzbereich in den oberen Mitten einfließen ließ, die ein Kritikpunkt am ursprünglichen Modell waren („shouty“, „in your face“, „too dry“ etc.). Ich selbst hatte zuvor den ursprünglichen HD 660S und kann bestätigen, dass sich diese technischen Änderungen positiv auf den Klang auswirken und die Rev. 2 definitiv besser und angenehmer klingt. Der neue HD 660S2 hat zusätzlich zum HD 660S Rev. 2 übrigens einfach mehr Bass bei gleichem Mittel- und Hochton. Ich habe den HD 660S Rev. 2 direkt bei Sennheiser im Dezember 2021 gekauft, die Rechnung lege ich bei. Es ist der komplette Original-Lieferumfang dabei, also die beiden Kabel 6,35mm und 4,4mm, der Adapter 6,35mm-3,5mm, Anleitung, Aufbewahrungsbox, Originalverpackung (siehe Foto). Außerdem lege ich ein hochwertiges XLR-Kabel in 3 Metern Länge in versilberter OOC-Qualität von Clear Components im Wert von ca. 100 € bei, welches ebenfalls in neuwertigem Zustand ist (siehe Foto), diese Rechnung lege ich ebenfalls bei. Da ich eine große Kopfhörer-Sammlung (> 40 Modelle) habe, trenne ich mich hin und wieder von einigen Modellen. In anderen Auktionen werde ich z. B. einen Sennheiser HD 560S, einen Beyerdynamic DT 990 Black Edition und einen DT 900 Pro X, Grado GH2, GH3, GH4, Hemp und RS1X und als Highlight ein HEDD HEDDPhone einstellen.
