This is a really hard to find Mini Hi-Fi Sony Component System. The stereo receiver and mini disc player are in well working condition. I am having trouble getting the CD player to load which leads me to believe that it needs a belt replaced after some research although I am not a tech expert. There is some shelf wear on the top as seen in the pictures. The rest of the cabinet is in really good condition for its age. This was a top of the line system when released. Sony TC-TX515 cassette deck from HCD-MD515 Hi-Fi System, silver tape separates. Listed for parts repair the tapes go in and eject fine and it sounds like it’s playing but can’t get sound from it for some reason selling as broken

This is being sold for parts as its sat in storage for a long time. All powers on just fine i just cant get it to function as not sure how to use it. ,There was slight battery damage as well shown in the photos Fast postage as well

Sony HCD-MD515 cd transporter This has been taken out of a part working Sony hifi. The cd changer loading mechanism had broken gears and were beyond repair. So Ive checked the cd player and works flawlessly. Played a few cds all the way through and had no skipping or jumping and it sounded really good.No missing or broken parts.Ideal replacement and may fit other Sony hifi equipment. Sony HCD-MD515 remote control. This has been taken out of a part working Sony hifi. The cd changer loading mechanism had broken gears and were beyond repair. So Ive saved all the working parts. This RM-md515 fits on the front of the hifi or remove it and its the remote control. The only button not working is the white md button.but by pressing function button you can go to md so not much of a problem. It is a little scruffy but it doesnt look too bad and could maybe smartened up a bit.The battery cover is present and the battery compartment is clean as shown in the photos. You will need 2 x AA batteries to use as a remote.Can be used on the hifi without batteries if its attached to the front. Ideal replacement and may fit other Sony hifi equipment. So Ive saved what is working from the main hifi. The 1st 5 photos are showing the md playing and recording in the hifi using different mds.Recorded the radio on 2 74 mds and had no problems. The changer mechanism is smooth as it should be,it ejects the mds smoothly as it should.Ive left all ribbon cables attached.No missing or broken parts.Ideal replacement and may fit other Sony hifi equipment.
