Im selling a used for parts/repair Mitsubishi HC3000 projector. It tries to turn on and will go into the warm up start only to shut off. Sometimes after 10-20 tries it will power on but has been getting worse. The bulb is fairly new as it was believed that could have been the problem. I still have the older used bulb that was removed (Ill give it to you free, you just need to pay shipping, let me know if you want it). The bulb cover on the projector also just cracked where the screw attaches it so it might need a little repair or small piece of tape to hold in place. Mitsubishi HC3000 Vintage 720p Projector Tested & Working w/Remote The unit works but has a few issues so the price is cheaper. The last 8 Pictures do describe the issues. Small Crack on front of grill as shown in one of last 7 pictures. The back door for the lamp is broken where the screw was holding the door down. I put a soft brand new ear plug to push & hold the lever back that allows the machine to power on with Lamp and Fan. The machine will power on without this lever pressed but it will not turn on lamp & fan unless you depress the lever switch. With all this stated the projector is working good & the Lamp is working good. Comes with all shown including remote and all manuals and DVD software. This unit is tested, and it does project picture with the bulb (see photos). Did not hear any sound when playing movies (tested via HDMI), though unsure of what proper setup is for this unit regarding sound. There is a plate on the bottom that seems to be loose due to a broken corner, it is held with scotch tape to stay in place. Please read all below - ask questions if you dont understand. Mitsubishi HC3000 Home Cinema DLP Projector. These were sold from 2006 and were considered to be a very highly recommended projector. When last sold the price was still really high at around £1500 ( $2000 U.S. ) I bought mine New in 2008 for about £800, which I thought was a bargain. I didnt get to use it until 2012 when I had finally moved to a home with a room big enough to install a 10 foot electric screen. I installed the projector on the ceiling ( which is the preferred location for this projector due to the picture 3:1 offset making the top of the picture 2 feet from the celing and bottom of the picture 2 feet from the floor ) I enjoyed watching a few films with this and a surround sound system - GREAT ! Really enjoyable. Then, and this is definitely under 30 hours use - the bulb blew !! ( There is a timer built in which records number of hours use ) Well, the likely reason is some fool touched the bulb with bare hands - and it wasnt me - it must have been the shop. But of course, no comeback after 4 years, so it went back in a box, where it has remained. 2 house moves and 10 years have gone by. I have nowhere to use it now so here it is - for sale at a starting bid £50 and no reserve. You will need a VLT-HC910LP Bulb before you can use it. These are available for a lot less than they used to be, and some are well made but not necessarily Mitsubishi branded. Research this projector on line - you will see it is a well recommended projector. Includes remote control ( no batteries ), instruction manual, connecting leads.The blue felt pen mark on the underside was simply for me to centrally align it on the mount. Below is not part of this listing - for info****************************************************************************************************************************************************** If you need a ceiling mount kit I do have a number of parts in my shed but they are steel and heavy and you would need to make things adapted to fit your mounting situation.
