This system has been imported and works through a lower voltage than that used in the UK . There is a voltage converter supplied with the units to enable use within the Uk . For those who are familiar with this system words are few , for those who are not , they just do not make them like this anymore . Full metal chassis construction on all components .The pre-amplifier has a unusual switch bass / treble configuration with assisted EQ switch for refined precision listening , The power amplifier is heavy to lift and has several heat sinks on either side maintaining a good transference of heat for continuous long use . The cassette deck has various options for metal & normal tapes : And finally the tuner has a step up/ step down function for precise tuning ensures smooth transition from station to station. Preamplificatore Harman Kardon HK725. Funziona ma in condizioni estetiche molto vissute come visibile in foto il frontale in buone condizioni ma i laterali come pure alcuni spigoli sono rovinati. Comunque funziona e lho usato con soddisfazione fino a qualche giorno fa. Elenco la lista dei difetti: la manopola del balance non originale, il pulsante di accensione deve essere stato riparato perch sporge qualche millimetro pi del normale. Il filtro subsonico sul canale destro non funziona. Internamente evidente che stato rimosso il rel di accensione (visibili in foto i due ponticelli di bypass). Direi che sono stati sostituiti i condensatori. La costruzione comunque di ottima fattura come da vecchia scuola Harman Kardon. Nonostante i difetti elencati pu per essere inserito subito nel proprio impianto. Caratteristiche tecniche reperibili facilmente in rete. Modello iconico degli anni 80.
