I am the original owner of this Harmon Kardon receiver and cassette deck. It was purchased in Feb. 1981 and after a few years of use, it was packed away for a house move and never used again. After two house downsizing moves, it is now time to sell this pair. They are both in fantastic physical shape for being 43 years old. I have the original box and packing material as shown in the pics. I have the original owner’s manual and warranty statement. This pair is cosmetically in excellent condition. The champagne color faceplates with the soft white lighting looks great. That is why I am selling both as a pair. I plugged in the cassette deck and it played the cassette but would not rewind or fast forward. It will need to be serviced to fix this issue. I know of no other issues because they have not been used in over 40 years. The HK 570 receiver has an output power of 45 watts per channel at 8 Ohms and is a beautiful receiver. It may also need to be serviced because of its age, I don’t know. This may be one of the cleanest original Harmon Kardon sets for sale today. I can’t be responsible for the shipping carrier but I will pack them both in the original boxes as best as possible.

Harman Kardon HK670 Twin receiver. Professionally serviced and recapped in May 2023. I used only the FM tuner and the AUX input with a DAC and the unit worked very well. All lamps worked. All controls and inputs that I could test worked properly. Minor cosmetic issues. Front panel end plates are slightly loose.
