Last time used was about 5 + yes ago and stopped due to not reading cds any longer. Now same thing wrong and tray opens and closes but when closing noisy, seems like dry. Has a bit of surface rust on bottom of machine but just got a little moisture in my garage. Was wrapped up in tote and did notice when I took equipment out. Lcd bright and looks to be still good, believe just needs service in laser assembly and a little cleaning but unknown for certain. Cleaning out some projects just no time to repair everything anymore

This stereo CD player is in good physical shape. I plugged it in and hit the open button. The tray moved out smoothly and accepted a cd. After closing the tray, I attempted to play the disc. As you can see from the picture, I received a E error code. I couldnt play a disc. This unit is being sold for parts or restoration.
