This is a Harman Kardon CDR20 CD player recorder. Here is a video testing it: https://youtu.be/hfy0HOSR9Kc . You can see from that video that the left cd tray reads to an error and the right functions flawlessly. This is the only issue I have encountered with the player. The left side has an error message of DISK ERROR when an audio CD is put in the tray. It is my understanding that the left hand side is for Play. So definitely, the left side is not operational (the tray slides in & out beautifully) as is. When a CD is placed into the right hand-side tray (which is the record side), the Play function works fine. However, unable to test whether or not the Record function works. (Tray slides in beautifully). The record function may or may not work. Thus, selling the unit AS IS and FOR PARTS ONLY.
