Up for sale is a wonderful Hana SL Mono moving coil cartridge that has been installed professionally on a carved wood headshell. If you know the Hana line, then you probably know that the SL is often called a “giant killer” for its exquisite sound. This is the Mono version of the SL. It is a true mono in that it delivers great single sound to both channels without the need for separate cables. You also do not need to use the mono switch on your amplifier (if you have one). Since this is a moving coil cartridge, you will need a MC switch on your amp or else an external phono preamp that can do it justice. The sound is glorious and full, and in my opinion, head and shoulders over the Ortofon SE Mono. The cart’s Shibata stylus has less than 50 hours on it and as you can see from the photos it is in beautiful condition. Cartridge comes mounted on a handmade wood headshell.
