This unit was recently serviced and updated with the latest firmware by Scan Audio Services in Van Nuys, California, a Halcro approved repair center. They are still in business. I havent used it for many years and tried to get the HDMI to output but could not for some reason. I cannot guarantee that the HDMI will work or not. Of course it works fine as 2 channel preamp either way. I did use it up to about 5 years ago than put it in its box and upgraded to a 4k preamp. Though we sell a 4k splitter in our ebay store that allows the 4k to go to your 4k tv than just use the halcro as your surround processor. I did get sound using this method. You could always send it to Scan Audio Servies to have them go through it and check it again though I have a reciept for them doing it in 2013. Spent almost $1000 updating everything and it worked fine when I got it back and for 5 more years. Comes complete with original box, remote, remote charging cradle, calibration microphone, leather-bound manual and everything you see. I cannot guarantee the HDMI switching will work in it but I can guarantee it outpus digital or analog sound. I can tell you that the Audio Quality of this unit is the best there ever is or was.The sound which comes out of this unit is jaw dropping and is better than Lexicon>Anthem D1>Bel canto> Mcintosh >Krell> Arcam> Rotel and various other processors/receivers I tried in my life.The only surround processor that beats it is a $30,000 Trinnov! This Halcro surround sound processor features the same award-winning technology as the companys amplifiers. It has comprehensive inputs (10 video and 10 analog audio, plus digital) and incredible sound quality for both movies and music. The unit is controlled by a remote or from the front-panel video touchscreen that also can serve as a monitor for video signal.The list price in 2008 was $10000. Halcro Logic SSP100.Dead.Brief diagnosis shows power supply is not doing what it should. Mean Well power supply.Labeled -V +5V +V on the board for the pins. It is not making the +5V and the +/-V pins have near nothing.Since it looks more or less like a computer inside, I would guess it needs +12v, +5V and -12V supplies.Im too busy to hack together a supply and try.YOU might be much better at this repair and actually take the time to find the info.Who knows, maybe Halcro will help (dont know them). SO, AS-IS. Dead.Cosmetics are OK. I didnt find a remote with it.Ill include a power cord. PARTS OR REPAIR
