I am selling a Hafler P225 chassis. It is in great physical condition. I built the JLH class A amplifier in it. Using The Penultimate Circuit from: https://sound-au.com/tcaas/jlhupdate.htm The amplifier works perfectly, and has great sound. However, it is only intended to be a base for your own DIY project. Please feel free to ask any questions.

One owner estate sale find back in the summer with other Hafler and high end stereo components. Good vintage condition. It does have rack wear to top. Fully tested and working with a caveat. The issue I have with it is, sometimes when I turn it on, only one of my speakers will have sound. I can fiddle with my speaker wires to get both speakers to work but have to have the speaker wires at just the right angle/position otherwise both of my speakers won’t produce sound. I troubleshot by swapping fuses from L to R, swapping wires, testing with another preamp, other speakers. It is an amazing amp but I just can’t bump the speaker wires or it they will crackle and glitch and I’ll lose sound. I’m not sure if it needs to be cleaned, or if the issue comes from my Hafler 110 pre-amp as I don’t have any further way to test. If you have any bright ideas, I’m happy to investigate. Great little amp that I’ve been using for 4+ years, pulled from a working environment. I’m only selling because I was given a 150x2 watt and I don’t have room for two.
