Naim snaic cable SNAXO 24 to NAP250 Custom 2x 4pin DIN to XLR Active Crossover Basically this will convert you snaxo so that the channels can be split horizonally instead of vertically without having to mess about with getting perfect matching amps. With the cable method you can always revert back to left and right. Picture is for illustration only but I will use chord cables. I can make the snaxo 4 pins to XLR (NAP 250) or 4 pins (NAP 180). Naims intention are to have 2x 250s equal amps but they are not dual mono constructed we all know no 2 amps are the same which is why we want to split them vertically to get it working symmetrically otherwise you an uneven left and right sounding system. Fantastic combination of modified, highly regarded rotel amplifiers and beautiful rosewood veneered Cura CA10 Speakers. Purchased 20 years ago and Biamped (not bridged) for 15 years until turning active 6 years ago. Cura was a British startup that made some well regarded mid priced (these were 900 in 1999) speakers. They went bankrupt after 3 years. Possibly due to the high cost of parts and exceptional cabinet quality. The CA10 were the gems in the range. The CA5s were light on base and the larger ca30s were not as cohesive. These were slightly warm but beautifully balanced. 34cm high x25cm deep x 22cm wide. The drivers are very well matched vifa (doped paper base) and seas cloth dome tweeter. Very neutral but not dry. The passive Crossover boards have been removed and drivers soldered directly to the connector with QED Quora silver anniversary (silver plated) Speaker cable and silver solder. Comes with all cabling including 2m pair of QED Quora silver anniversary Speaker cables. The Active Crossover is high quality 3 stage amplifier for each channel using specialist audio op-Amps, low noise resistors and poly film capacitors. Crossover is 2.8khz. The base and treble can be tweaked to get the optimum sound in your room and there is a volume control so this can be used as a pre-amp to control volume directly. Turning the system active tightened up the base and reduced compression at higher volumes. It was a major transformation. The Rotels have been modified on the left channel to provide the correct base shelf frequency to match the cabinet size so will not work with standard speakers. Hence selling as a system. I am an electronics graduate that specialized in HiFi Audio electrical and acoustic engineering (before everything went digital) so you can be confident it sounds really good. Selling reluctantly to make space. I have now purchased some active nearfield midrange Adams monitors to get a similar sound/Quality. Comes with all cables needed as shown in the pictures. Active Crossover Filter-Line Array - 3way One input stereo audio signal and 3 outputs for 3 amplifiers corresponding to 3 bands of frequencies low, mid and high frequency. Each output has 2 potentiometers, one for altering the frequency and one for volume. This is my new prototype project, soon will be wired & tested Active Crossover 3way on same board with 3 mono channels, obviously will be added another board with 2 channels (5 channels total, 2x stereo for high and mid frequencies and 1x mono for subwoofer. As well will be added final stage power transistors. Final photos coming soon with final price. The second board is already produced but yet incomplete and contains 2 channels amp and protection system for all 5 channels. I have listed it earlier before finishing because opportunity from Ebay but in few days hopefully will be ready to test full power.

The 2 main boards are large 20x30cm and the final stage boards will be installed directly with transistors on heatsinks. 3 pair boards final stage (with transistors) can be seen in photos but soon will be ready the other 2pair so if it sels today, you will receive the complete set (5 pair final stage boards and 2 main boards with active crossover 3way, 5 channels expandable booster amplifier and 5 channel speaker protection).
