Up for sale is a vintage pair of Grundig Lautsprecher Box 45 speakers, model number 1406-022. These speakers were manufactured in Germany and are perfect for anyone looking for a classic audio experience. The speakers have been previously owned but are still in good working order. (L1278) This pair of speakers have been tested and work, however we did not play them above 2 for sound. They were produced from 1967 - 1972. These speakers have never had any work done to them as they were a part of my mother-in-laws Estate. They do have some blemishes. On the top and front the wood has some rippling which to me add character to the MCM style. There are a few other blemishes which are to be expected for their age. Please look closely at the pictures as they are part of the description. I have more pictures that I can send upon request that may satisfy your need to see more. They will be shipped in two separate boxes with the feet removed. Each speaker is 24x25x9 without the feet. The feet are approximately six and a half inches tall. They will be shipped separately and the feet will be removed for shipping. Due to the age of these speakers and the uncertain nature of vintage electronics, these speakers are being sold AS IS with no returns or adjustments. These are NOT a new speakers. As such, they do not come with any guarantee-- implied or written. Vintage speakers can be sensitive and do not travel particularly well. So in rare instances, that which was working 100% at my house may require adjustment or servicing before working equally well at yours. Please know that I use new and recycled materials for packaging and it may smell a bit musty from being stored. X
