This auction consists of 3 (three) used blank PAL Betamax videotapes with various presentation items and RARE continuity from terrestrial UK broadcasting, from at least 1988 until at least 1998, which contain (amongst other items) the following contents:TAPE 1: Grampian In the final days of presentation from Aberdeen, a continuously recorded L750 beginning at approximately 8:20pm on 23rd June 1998, featuring in-vision continuity from Gary Stein (variable quality), Grampian break-bumpers, ITV Grampian Television ident, News at Ten, Grampian Headlines, and Reflections. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CASSETTE HAS ONE CRACKED TAPE WINDOW - NO DAMAGE TO TAPE ITSELFTAPE 2: Channel 4 From the first hour of 31st October 1990, a first half only junction featuring out-of-vision continuity ACCOMPANIED by in-vision signing for the deaf and hard of hearing. Plus, the two consecutive BBC1 Scotland junctions at 1:50pm and 2:15pm from 8th March 1990 including the complete programme between. Plus, the two consecutive Grampian junctions at 11:05pm and 11.35pm from 28th April 1988 including the complete programme between, the final few minutes of The Paul Coia Show beforehand, and two lots of in-vision continuity with Kay Duncan. Plus, on the final two minutes of this tape but almost unrecoverable even in reasonable quality, the Channel 4 closedown from the second hour of 6th November 1982 featuring Paul Coia in-vision.TAPE 3: Grampian From 13th November 1991, the handover to Night Time, including Grampian trailers, North Tonight promo, and ITN News Summary.I hope that these tapes will be enjoyed as much by the winning bidder, as they have by me, just another lover of the golden age of British television broadcasting and presentation.There are also programmes/films (MAY BE OTHER BRIEF CONTINUITY/PRESENTATION EXCERPTS BUT INCOMPLETE OR POOR QUALITY EXAMPLES) on these tapes, but I have not made a note of them here. Tape manufacturers are Maxell and Sony (tape lengths are all L750). DUE TO COPYRIGHT REASONS, THESE TAPES ARE BEING SOLD AS USED BLANKS.
