Tested GRADO FT+ Cartridge w/ Ugly Working Original Stylus Sounds Excellent This cartridge used and the needle is ugly. The cantilever has an couple of dents, but they do not prevent it from working well and sounding excellent. Please see the dents in the pictures. The diamond is conical and has very light wear. There is also a very small crack in the plastic housing which does not hurt the function. I tested it thoroughly to be sure it works correctly, so you can buy with confidence. I have inspected it visually under high magnification, checked it electronically, and tested it for sound production. It works as it should, and it sounds pretty good. Check out the photos to see what is included. Everything in the photos is included. Message me if you need mounting screws, connectors, mounting bracket, or other extras. A great vintage classic here in remarkable condition all around. Everything works as expected aside from minor wear and tear typical for a turntable of this age. I am not certain of the hours on the cartridge. Ive experienced a ground hum with this unit which Id assume is my audio chain, but you may want to do something with the ground wire. Caveat emptor, and all that. Will attempt to ship tonearm, cartridge and platter separately in the same box to protect the turntable. Let me know if you have any questions.
