It comes from the large collections of an elderly local man with a lifetime’s enthusiasm for radios and other sound-related classic equipment and now finally needs a new home, hopefully to be used at last after a lifetime in storage. The speaker is in a Goodmans box (not the correct label) with inner packaging and shows no signs of poor storage, damp or decay. There is no paint damage, blemishes, tarnish or corrosion and the cones are perfect. There may be a little dust but no heavy soiling. The label is bright and clear. The speaker is ready for installation and use, offers considered to find it a good home. Great sounding drivers. measuring 6.2 and 6.4 DCR on the meter.tested audibly too, great sounding drivers. Small patch of ’spider poo’ which ive mainly cleaned off on the surround of one, but apart from that they are easily the best pair of these drivers that have seen. GOODMANS AXIOM 201 12 twin cone vintage speaker. This rare vintage speaker is in great all round condition, no apparent damage. Been in dry storage for many many years, I did a quick test with a 9V battery and all is good but thats as far as Ive tested it. I see no reason why it shouldnt work fully. See photos for full details of the item. Would benefit from a careful cleaning session to remove some storage dust.
