The G900 IGC was the top MM cartridge in the late 70s / 80s and continues to be regarded as one of the best, perhaps even the best MM cartridge ever produced. It is a very high compliance cart designed for low-mass tonearms. Due to a failed cantilever the needle now rides too low. In short, it needs a new stylus. Its a shame the cantilever has failed as the original Van Den Hul diamond looks and sounds to be in good shape.
