Garrard SP25 Mk III Turntables 2 turntables. Bought to replace the BSR turntables on a vintage disco unit I had but never got round to it. The Auto Return mechanism has been disabled apparently as they were for disco use. I have tested them and they work well (see video). One has a Goldring G800 cart in it and the other has something else. Not sure what. They have been wired so one turntable comes out through the left phono and one is on the right phono. Youll need to rewire for proper stereo operation. Sold as described and with no warranty or returns accepted. But see video to see that they do work as far as described. Will be supplied in the wooden case to protect them in transit. Collection is welcome from Haverhill, Suffolk.

I have unseized and lubricated the mechanism in the deck, added a new mains lead with a one amp fuse, and a chassis earth, and connected a mono audio lead. All the functions on the deck now work perfectly, and I assume the cartridge will be OK once a new stylus is fitted. I have fitted new connecting leads to the cartridge, as the old ones were tarnished. I think this deck was made in the late 1960s, early 1970s, and is typical of Garrards bomb proof decks from that era. It is meant to play single records, but can load the record automatically, and unload it and shut off once the record has finished. It also has a pause function with the cuing arm at the side of the tone arm. The base is loose, and I will leave it this way in case the new owner wants to wire it for stereo.The original dust cover is also included, this has some small cracks but is intact. Goldring G800 Moving Coil Cartridge. The cartridge that I removed from my Garrard SP25 Mk3 when I chucked it in the bin! We all make mistakes! This was bought in the 1970s and used with my Sinclair Stereo 60 hi-fi system. It was working perfectly but I gave the stylus to a DJ mate of mine when one of his broke. Sold as seen. No returns.
